01/29/22 - SEAN OLIU & THE COASTLINE COWBOYS

Bob Stane says: Just seen on TV two weeks ago. This is an encore presentation. He appeared on the stage of The Coffee Gallery Backstage a couple of months ago. I am bringing him back.

Sean Oliu is a prolific young singer, songwriter and musician from Southern California. Sean has been intertwining country with the influences of Blues, and early Rock n’ Roll to form his own unique musical style. Sean opened for Rachel Patten at the “VH1 Save The Music Holiday Concert” and was selected to record and perform the title tracks “Remember Me” and “Un Poco Loco” (from the movie “Coco”) with Anthony Gonzalez. He was thrilled to open for Leanne Rimes in her “You and Me Christmas Tour”. Sean recently returned from Nashville where he had the honor to perform at the legendary Bluebird Café, the original Basement, and to record and write with some of country music’s leading artists. Sean’s talents have opened the door to collaborations with many other talented musicians and to a current partnership with Grammy winning producer and songwriter Darrell Brown. Sean was most recently humbled to be awarded the 2020 OC Artist of the Year. A Highlight in the very challenging year of 2020 was being the first country music artist chosen to be part of the Music Centers 61st LA Holiday Celebration on PBS.

When he isn’t collaborating with other artists Sean enjoys playing all around the Southland with his three-piece country music band – Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys. Helping to round out Sean’s deep and soulful classic country sound are his best friends Ryan Brinkley (background vocals and drums) and Danny Hudson (bass guitarist).

Just recently Sean was the opening act or LeAnn Rimes at The Cerritos Center and for the opening of Ron Howard’s “The Beatles, Eight Days A Week” at The El Rey Theatre.
